The Bangkok's Mexican Gangsters are Thai men who feel identified with Mexican gangsters style. Thai gangsters are common people in the morning and in the night they wear their gangaster look. In spite of Bangkok gangsters look like mexican gangsters, they do not apreciate brutal violence. Both groups have similar appearances, however they do not have the same behavior. This group is an example of cultural appropriation of another subculture, these thai men take some of the customs of one group because they feel represented by them and also they create characteristics by their own, like their own music with lyrics which ilustrated their social problems.
I totally agree with you, the thai gangsters took Mexican gangster subculture the appearance which includes tattoos, clothing among others but that does not make it an evil society, i.e. the ideals of the thai gangsters are different to the ideals of Mexican gagnsters.
